# Pricing: The Secrets Vault

> The Secrets Vault is a zero-knowledge password and file manager built in South Africa. Your passwords, files and ID documents are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM before they reach us, so we only ever store ciphertext and cannot read your vault.

Billed monthly. 7-day free trial (card required, not charged until the trial ends). Security features are in every plan; higher plans add capacity and convenience (table below).

- Prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and charged monthly; Teams and Business can also pay annually and get two months free.
- Personal and Family plans start with a 7-day free trial; Teams and Business with 14 days. You can cancel any time before it ends.
- Need more room? Extra encrypted storage can be added to any personal plan.
- Payments are processed by PayFast. We never see or store your card details.
- If a renewal payment fails, we try your card again two days later. If that also fails, your vault locks until you pay, and your data stays safe for 12 months.
